N-Free® A for Ammonium/COD treatment

Principle

アN-Free A treats Ammonium-nitrogen and COD components using electrolytic technology.

Ammonia can be oxidized into Nitrogen gas by Hypochlorite which is generated on the anode. Thus, N-Free A can treat the components which react with Hypochlorite

There is an advantage that it is less expensive to generate Hypochlorite with electrolytic reactor than to purchase Hypochlorite. But we recommend Hypochlorite dosing treatment instead of N-Free A if Ammonia concentration is low in the raw water.

Advantage

N-Free A system has the following advantages compared to the existing biological treatment.

  1. It can treat the waste water which the biological treatment cannot treat.
  2. No limitation on nitrogen concentration in the raw water
  3. Fit for the fluctuation of nitrogen concentration in the raw water
  4. It requires less installation space because the dilution of the raw water is not necessary and the reaction rate is higher.
  5. It doesn’t generate the secondary waste such as sludge.
  6. Operating on demand. It is not necessary to operate at no raw water condition.

Achievements

Waste water treatment for Metal chemical production Waste water treatment for Nuclear fuel equipment Waste water treatment for Catalyst plant Seepage water treatment for Industrial waste final disposal site

Waste water treatment for Metal chemical production

This is the achievement which is applied to the waste water treatment for the Chemicals production.
We applied N-Free AN for decomposing Ammonium nitrate which can treats Nitrate and Ammonium-nitrogen simultaneously.

Waste water treatment for Nuclear fuel equipment

This is the achievement which is applied to the nuclear fuel equipment.
After removing radioactive compounds by the existing equipment, we applied N-Free N for reducing Nitrate-nitrogen.

Waste water treatment for Catalyst plant

This is the achievement which is applied to the waste water treatment of the catalyst plant.
Because Ammonium-nitrogen is generated only when the specific catalyst is producing, we applied N-Free A as Sodium hypochlorite dosing system for decomposing Ammonium-nitrogen.

Seepage water treatment for Industrial waste final disposal site

This is the achievement which is applied to the Seepage water treatment for Industrial waste final disposal site.
We applied N-Free A as Sodium hypochlorite dosing system for decomposing Ammonium-nitrogen, because it is for the back-up system for the existing biological treatment when Ammonium-nitrogen load is large.
We also applied Chlorine residual treatment system after N-Free A.
