Wet-type Electrostatic Precipitators
In 1972, we succeeded in developing a commercial use electrostatic precipitator utilizing electro-conductive FRP ahead of other countries.
This provided an instant solution to corrosion. Since that time, we have always advanced ahead of the sector, and in addition to electro-conductive FRP, we have manufactured numerous stainless steel wet-type ESPs. Due to their outstanding performance, reliability and ease of maintenance, these ESPs are in demand in many sectors and areas.
Principle
  1. Gas Ionization by Corona Discharge
When the dust collecting electrode is grounded and a high negative voltage is applied to the discharge electrode, a huge corona discharge is generated from the discharge electrode. This corona discharge fills the precipitator space with ions and electrons.
  2. Charging
When gas containing dust is introduced into this precipitator space, the dust (and mist) in the gas is negatively charged.
  3. Precipitation
The charged dust (and mist) moves towards the collecting electrode by Coulomb force accompanying electrostatic aggregating action, and adheres to the dust collecting electrode.
  4. Dust Removal
The adherent dust (mist) loses its negative charge on the dust collecting electrode. Due to its own weight and the washing water, the dust (and mist) peals off the dust collecting electrodes and falls into a hopper below the precipitators and is conveyed away.

Features
  1. These robust square cylinders do not become deformed even after many years of use.
They maintain their initial performance for a long period of time.
  2. Due to the wide spacing distance between electrodes there is very little drop in the load voltage due to deformation and dust adhesion and performance does not deteriorate.
  3. As ultra high voltage is used, it is easy to remove micro particle metal fumes (specially heavy metals).
  4. Widely spaced electrodes and our proprietary washing system enable washing during charging.
    Dust adhesion is low.

Main Applications
Exhaust gas emitted by sulfuric acid manufacturing equipment, Exhaust gas emitted by gas absorbers of metal melting furnaces, Exhaust gas including heavy metals, waste liquid incinerators, active sludge incinerators, and other dust collection from gas containing dust not treatable with other dry-type ESPs.

Our wet-type electrostatic precipitator has widely spaced electrodes and so the spark effect from water droplets is minimal, and consequently the current is always stable. It is possible to clean the dust collecting electrode plate during charging. We manufacture total systems including wastewater treatment systems. We also possess commercial size test units, and so we can carry out tests required by users.
